Welcome to Estonia, welcome to Pärnu and of course welcome to Valgeranna!
Estonia, a country in Northern Europe, borders the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Finland. Including more than 2000 islands, its diverse terrain spans rocky beaches, old-growth forest and many lakes. Formerly part of the Soviet Union, it’s dotted with castles, churches and hilltop fortresses. The capital, Tallinn, is known for its preserved Old Town, museums and the 314m-high Tallinn TV Tower, which has an observation deck.
Pärnu is a resort city in southwestern Estonia, overlooking Pärnu Bay. Pärnu, also known as the summer capital of Estonia. The city is bisected by the Pärnu River, which has paths on both banks, both of which end in stone jetties in the bay. The city is known for its 19th-century timber villas and for sandy Pärnu Beach, with its shallow waters and promenade. Behind the beach, Pärnu Beach Park has fountains, trails and neoclassical spa buildings.
Valgeranna is a beach area in southwestern Estonia, just 8km west of Pärnu and it literally translates to “white beach”
If you don’t like the summer crowds on Pärnu Beach then Valgeranna is the place for you. It has 500m of fine white sand at the edge of a beautiful pine tree forest. In the forest you’ll find lovely hiking trails.
Also Valgeranna will be the place that will host Sonic Boom Festival: Takeoff to Infinity on 13.- 14. August 2021.
